Abstract:

Introduction: Iran is a frontier of pomegranate fruit production in the world (with almost 40 % of the world's production). However due to traditional processing operations is not ranked as the largest pomegranate exporter. Saveh ,Neyriz and Ferdows are the top pomegranate producing cities in Iran. Pomegranate is consumed as a fresh fruit as well as processed product as food additive, paste, syrup, jelly, pectin, jam, beverage, essence, vinegar and concentrate. Aril extraction is the first and essential postharvest operation for pomegranate processing. Arils are mostly extracted manually even in large scales for fresh and processed consumption. ….

Abstract:

As a recently introduced method, entrance fuel magnetization, which is obtained from an external magnetic field, is a process through which exhaust gas emissions and fuel supply of internal combustion engines decrease. One of the preconditions of using the magnetized fuel in internal combustion engines is studying about the effects of fuel change on vibration behavior of the engines. Vibration of internal combustion engines can cause failure in engine components and agricultural machinery and vehicle’s drivers upset. In this research, diesel fuel in magnetic fields with different intensities of 1000, 2000, 3000 and 4000 Gauss was studied and Vibration signals of six-cylinder diesel engine (tractor MF-399) at five levels of engine speed and in the longitudinal, vertical and lateral directions were measured and recorded. The results show that the Root Mean Square (RMS) amounts of vibration acceleration were the most in the lateral direction and the least in the longitudinal direction (75.78 m/s2 and 44.59 m/s2 respectively). This research also shows that the RMS amounts of vibration acceleration decrease by increasing the magnetic field intensity and the lowest value of RMS belongs to a magnetic field intensity of 4000 Gauss.

Abstract:

Coriolis VIBRATORY gyroscope is one of the most modern types of gyroscopes that has been substituted for the common gyroscopes with some differences in the test mass design and elastic suspension. According to the important features observed in the capacitive excitation of the actuators regarding the piezoelectric actuators, the operation principles and their formulations are completely changed, which require both two dimensional and finite element analysis to evaluate their optimal performance. Because the sensors are usually vibrating continuously while operation, in this paper a general framework is presented that fully describes the influence of the parameters related to different frequency operating modes. The main idea of the vibration gyroscope is to replace the rotational rotor with a vibrational structure to utilize the effects of Coriolis force, which causes the secondary motion of a sensitive mass to match an angular velocity. In this paper, the sensitivity analysis and performance evaluation of a hemispherical vibrational gyroscope are discussed. The frequency split phenomenon, the sensed voltage around the resonance frequency and Young's modulus variation are also investigated. Finally, the results of the simulated resonance frequencies are compared and validated with the mathematical and theoretical principles.

Abstract:

In this paper, a simple but effective method for compensation of the quadrature error in MEMS VIBRATORY gyroscope is provided. The proposed method does not require any change in the sensor structure, or additional circuit in the feedback path. The mathematical relations of the proposed feedback readout system were analyzed and the proposed solution assures good rejection capabilities. Based on the simulation results, the proposed method increases the dynamic range of the readout circuit by about 19dB for the quadrature error with 10 times higher amplitude than the Coriolis signal. Furthermore, the feedback path reduces the effect of the 1 degree LO mixer phase error in the output path by about 95%, which causes our system to be less sensitive to this error. In addition, the 2nd harmonic component at the output of the proposed feedback readout is much lower than that of the conventional readout. As a result, proposed feedback readout can relax the requirement of the output lowpass filter.

Abstract:

In this paper, a capacitive 3-DOF VIBRATORY rate micro gyroscope with 2-DOF oscillator in the sense mode and 1-DOF in the drive mode was studied. A complete model of the micro gyroscope, including mechanical and electrical parts was utilized. Based on the graphical and differential sensitivity analyses methods, variations of the system parameters were analyzed. In the first step, governing equations of the micro gyroscope were derived. In order to simulate the sensor operation, working frequency has been determined and then, output voltage of the sensor versus changes in mechanical and electrical elements is studied. According to the sensitivity analysis results, secondary mass (m2), permittivity, length and width of the electrostatic capacitors, also DC and AC components of the actuation voltage have been clustered as the most sensitive parameters. Initial gap of the electrostatic capacitors and stiffness are fairly sensitive. Primary mass (m1), mass of the decoupling frame (mf), and young module are considered as non-sensitive parameters. Variations of the output voltage based on secondary mass (m2), stiffness and initial gap are completely non-linear and in some areas have severe slopes. Wise choices in selecting appropriate values for these parameters will lead to the better performance and more output voltage of the sensor

Abstract:

IN THIS PAPER, AN OVERVIEW OF THE STRUCTURE AND FUNDAMENTALS OF FUNCTIONALITY OF A 3-DOF TRI-AXIAL MEMS VIBRATORY GYROSCOPE IS PRESENTED AND THE DETAILED AND ACCURATE DYNAMICS IS RULED UP. REDUCTION OF PERFORMANCE LEVEL DUE TO FABRICATION IMPERFECTIONS WOULD BE DISCUSSED AND CONSEQUENTLY THE MORE ACCURATE MODEL WILL BE PUT FORWARD. MAYBE, IT IS WORTH IMPARTING THAT A COMPLETE TRI-AXIAL 3-DOF GYROSCOPE MODEL WOULD BE DEMONSTRATED. THE SPACE STATE MODEL HAS THE BENEFIT OF BEING CONTROLLABLE. THE DEFECTS OF THE OPEN LOOP SYSTEM SPECIALLY DUE TO QUADRATURE ERROR ARE DISCUSSED AND WOULD BE DEMONSTRATED THROUGH SIMULATIONS. THE QUADRATURE ERROR INEVITABLY TRANSPIRES IN FABRICATION PROCESS. IT ORIGINATES FROM THE ABNORMAL GEOMETRIES.

Abstract:

Advanced technologies and complex systems in different industrial areas such as electronics, aerospace, medicine, optics, and so on require producing parts with high surface quality and low roughness. To this end, different non-conventional methodologies such as electro discharge machining, electro chemical machining, laser beam machining, and so forth are proposed for machining and polishing parts that each one has pros and cons. Applying advanced abrasive ceramic grits for polishing is one of the prevalent techniques that has attracted researcher and manufacturer’ s attention to produce high precision workpieces. Beside minimum thermal and chemical side effects of abrasive powders on the workpieces, this technique can be applied with various types of energy such as hydraulics, pneumatics, magnetics, and etc. Abrasive polishing uses vibration energy to generate kinetic energy in the powders in order to polish the surface of the parts. even though this method was applied for many years, , , There are some unkown aspects of this process. The focus of this work is on the mathematical modeling and numerical simulations which is done recently by some of researchers in this field.
